Genelec DSP Systems
The following videos provide detailed insights into the benefits, setup and use of Genelec DSP monitoring systems.
The DSP series consists of four loudspeakers and four subwoofers controlled by two Genelec Loudspeaker Manager (GLM) software packages, either the full GLM for large systems or the GLM.SE "Small Environment" system for small listening rooms.
Genelec DSP systems are built on the revolutionary Genelec 8000 series technology with the addition of a digital networking system, on-board DSP and the powerful automated loudspeaker system calibration - AutoCal.
How to setup and install your software CD, signal and network cables, network interface device, Genelec measurement microphone and your DSP loudspeaker / subwoofer systems.
Genelec calibration microphone should be placed at the listening position with its capsule pointing up and adjusted at the listener’s ear level. Then, let AutoCal do the rest!
GLM software and GLM network have full control on DSP loudspeakers. However, if you do not wish to have the computer running with the GLM software, you can still benefit from all calibration settings. This is called the Stand-alone mode.
